SWEP’s mission is at stake
SWEP’s high-quality environmental education & service learning programming with K-12 students in the Tahoe-Truckee Region is at risk. To continue our legacy we need your support.
SWEP is not immune to the economic challenges caused by the COVID pandemic. Our program funding has been severely impacted, but the need for SWEP programming is greater than ever. Students need the outdoors! They need to connect with nature and with their community. Students need to take action, because action fosters hope and empowers the next generation to make positive impacts.
SWEP has been able to successfully pivot during the pandemic to provide distance learning resources that engage students with outdoor, experiential learning that is meaningful. Through SWEP Snippets, Virtual Field Programs & Socially Distanced Service Projects we have been able to continue our mission of promoting stewardship.
Please help SWEP survive & thrive during these challenging times. Your support will help assure SWEP’s future work with connecting students to the environment.
