We are fundraising to continue to create student stewards to protect our planet.
SWEP promotes environmental stewardship by connecting students to their local community and environment through comprehensive watershed education and service-learning projects. We educate and empower students to take action, to have a voice, and make a positive impact in response to the climate crisis. We reach over 7,017 students annually with hands-on, engaging, relevant programs that integrate environmental science into real-world settings that have a positive impact on students, our community, and the planet.
Any amount makes a difference, and every dollar raised directly supports our students, community, and the environment:
- $10 = Student's supplies for watershed service projects
- $20 = Native plant for restoration projects
- $35 = Toolkit for Trashion Show costumes
- $75 = Teaching toolkit for field instructors
- $150 = Restoration toolkit for service projects
- $350 = Transportation for one class to a fieldwork project
- $500 = Support for methane reduction programming and organic food waste separation at schools
- $1000 = Funding for service learning around defensible space programming
